Some good anti cancer foods please?
Brewers yeast and anti-cancer foods?
One of my New years resolutions was to eat healthy in 2010. To date I am following it and am taking quite a few supplements along with a menu filled with colorful veggies, green tea and lean protein. The woman at my local health food store suggested brewers yeast as an aid to digestion and another source for selenium. I bought several bottles and have taken it for two weeks now. A good buddy, who has fancied himself as a heath food nut for years now, says that studies in Japan have shown that brewers yeast can promote growth of cancer cells. I have not been able to find anything on this. Is this an urban legend or what?
