So far all the reasons given for the cause of colon cancer have not been scientifically proven. Here are few of the things that have been disproved or lacks evidence1 Red Meat and heavy meat diet contributes to colon cancer.Disproof Vegetarians get colon cancer too. People who have never eaten meat get colon cancer too2 Eating fiber prevents colon cancerDisproof Recent medical studies proved that eating high diet in fiber is no guarantee of not getting colon cancer. Various hospital studies and medical journals have concluded that even those who eat high fiber diet always, still end up with colon cancer3 Sedentary lifestyle causes colon cancerDisproof People who were very active and exercised frequently all their lives and maintained healthy weight and diet still got colon cancer4 Good hygiene weakens immunity and so it can cause colon cancerNo medical evidence whatsoever. My father 81 and has prostate cancer stage 3. Hes been diagnosed for almost 2 years now. These year he is only on hormone therapy.I asked him if he can still drive around especially since he lives in southern california where everybody needs to drive. He says he can drive during the day but at night, he doesn't want to risk it cause its too dangerous according to him. Hes eyes are bad and its hard for him to see the roads. Sometimes even during the day, when he goes to see his doctors, he has a friend that drives him most of the time. Question Did hes prostate cancer do some side effects to his eyes, or do you think that's another problem? A total different story?thanks
