Does removing breasts due to breast cancer cure the cancer?
if you get breast cancer in one or both breasts, does removing them BOTH or just even the one with cancer, eliminate the cancer from your body? or do you still have to have chemo with malignant cancer even if you remove the breasts so it doesnt spread elsewhere?thanks everyone

My grandmother who is 79 years old has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer mid last year. She did a surgery and was on oral chemotherapy the pill that is equivalent to chemo for 5 months and they discovered that her cancer has spread metastasized to her stomach, totally two locations and the SUVs of her tumor were 12 and 4.5 for each of her two tumors. She immediately did 4 rounds of chemotherapy with 3 rounds of Nimotuzumab Injection which is a epidermal growth factor receptor monoclonal antibodies . Her latest PET scan result does not show any tumors remaining and each of her SUVs is now 4.3 and 2 respectively. The PET scan result only said the two spots where she had the two tumors still have remain we dont know if that means remain of cancer or remain of tumor . Her oncologist said the result is strange because it doesn't show where her tumor went. She has 4 more rounds of chemo and the other injections remaining to go. does this result indicate she is on her way or close to a remission for her late state colon cancer? can you please explain. Any help is much appreciated. thank you very much

Do you think cancer cures are being quietly discarded because research and treatment are generating way too much revenue?Let me add something else. What should be done about possible cures and treatments that cannot be approved by the FDA because no one is willing to put up the funding for research due to the agent or compound not being profitable in large part because it is an old substance that was used previously for something else and cannot be patented. The people that profit from the treatment are those that create it and those that administer it. Those that profit from research are those that collect money in the name of research and market products to sell in the name of research. What would happen to our economy if most types of cancers were able to be cured tomorrow. Outside of the company that created the cure.And those that administered it.I am talking about Dichloroacetic acid. As just one example.

How long until a throat cancer cure is too late?
My father has possibly been diagnosed with throat cancer. My mother told me that the doctors told him two months ago. Apparently he's taken plenty of catscans tests and whatnot. Considering he found out two months ago, and was possibly diagnosed with it months before, do you think it's too late to find a cure? Or is it a possibility that the cancer hasn't spreaded onto his bones yet? Any websites or informative information would be great, thanks. More and more I don't trust pharmaceuticals, as most treatments, and pills are extremely diluted and synthetic treatments of their NATURAL counterparts herbs, plants, etc. . So I took a look at history, specifically the birth of modern pharmaceutical based treatments, and most practices were born out of the Rockefeller Foundation in the early quarter of the 20th century. When cancer, or even leukemia was non existent in civilization let alone in children. Since the 1940's cancer in general has doubled, even tripled in certain diagnosis', so if we are at the cutting edge of medical technology, what is the major malfunction here? As far as most infectious diseases being eradicated by vaccinations and modern medicine in the 20th century, that just isn't true, because if you eliminate vaccinations, we would still notice an eradication of most infectious diseases in the Western world thanks to the implementation of proper sanitation. So to me, the vaccinations were not the answer to eradication for the most part. Except maybe the case for Polio. We have given hundreds of billions of dollars to cancer 'research' over the past few decades, but a cure is as far away as it ever has been. Why?To end my point, the people in charge of running these massive pharmaceutical corporations like Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, etc are NOT, I repeat NOT in the business of curing people of anything but only treating symptoms, in order for the patient to come back for more, which $$$. Quite the contrary, the more people are sick for longer, the more revenue generation and profits.If we take the amount of people suffering from major debilitating diseases such as cancer, AIDS HIV, Parkinson's, etc. How much profit and revenue would be lost because hundreds of millions of people would be cured, and wont be taking their pills anymore? Or how many doctors and nurses would be out of a job? Think about it. And these CEO, CFO's, shareholders and executives would LOSE big time. So from my perspective, it's best to look after your own body, and staying away from the standard American diet, because as far as I am concerned it will increase your chances of getting cancer, along with environmental factors, etc.So yes, i will openly say their is a conspiracy to keep a cure for cancer out of the public's hands for the sake of corporate monopolism. Do you think so?

My final proposal for cancer cure have an understanding of biology and cells?
well if i wanted to cure cancer i would have to do one thing and only one thing. you see the main key is to FIND the genes that control cell growth because obviously those are the genetic mutations that cause cancer. once we find those genes we can mutate their nucleic acid sequence you know guanine cytosine adenine and thymine. if we can construct something like a cancer but it doesent mutate the genes for growth to a point where it over produces itself but it mutates it by slowing down the production of cells to where it is normal. now the reason it cannot be repaired by our bodys is because it has the molecules on the out side of the infected cell is different. now if we could construct something that could react with the molecules of an infected cell instead of a healthy cell witch is basicly what were doing because the cancer cell has different molecules than normal then we could basicly attack bad cells and leave normal cells alone fighting cancer with cancer but the cancer were using is a good cancer that mutates good and reacts with molecules with bad cells instead of good cells and there you go the cure all right here i want to propose my idea to the researchers so i can get in on this to and one day do this and end the cancer peril. god bless the ones with cancer and please leave nice coments and please have faith in god on this idea. please i know that this is 100 % cure for cancer. thankyou steve duran jr.

When do you think there will be a cancer cure?
By cure I mean something that prolongs life for a LONG time, or by something that stops the spread, and kills cancer cells other than chemo .My mom was diagnosed with cancer that spread, and I'm wondering if maybe in 5 years if there is a possibility for there to be a good treatment.I know that there are many types of cancer, but even if it is just one type of cancer that they can cure, maybe it will be one step closer to curing the others too?
