Could I have cervical cancer?
I have VERY heavy periods, or abnormal bleeding pelvic pain not from menstruation sometimes my uterus or something cramps up when i urinate also, my periods seem to be getting longer. because usually my periods will last from 4 6 days but i'm on the 11th day of my period right now.
I have recently been told i have a the hpv cervical cancer. I have never had a sexually transmitted disease ho?
I have never had sexual transmitted disease yet i have the hpv cervical cancer how is this possible? Can you be tested for cervical cancer without a pap smear?
I want to know this and I don't understand why the medical world has yet to find a better way to test for cervical cancer besides pap smears. Its not the 'embarassing' aspect of the test, its the fact that they put me in unbearable pain every time. I refuse to get a pap smear because it hurts so bad, they tried using a child size one on me and it still hurt. They told me my cervix was titled and that was why it hurt. I've had sex with minor discomfort, but put a pap smear near me and I will run out of the room, It is something I refuse to do it hurts that bad, and I've had multiple OBGYN try. It feels like knives being jabbed up me, surely there must be a better way, a blood test?
Why do i feel sick after a cervical cancer injection?
well i felt really tired after i had just had my jab at school and then started feeling sick whereas everyone else just had a really stiff arm. only 2 other people had the same symptoms as me. the lady who gave me an injection said it might feel stiff but i didn't i can move it really well and only feel sick. I havent ate hardly nothing it that what is wrong? Please help me Thank you for all comments really appreciated

So i have been having odd periods and pelvic pain. I made a gynocology appt but they couldnt get me in til 2 weeks. I finally couldnt take the annoying pain and er and they found a pea sized hard mass on the opening of my cervix. Im utterly terrified. I had a daughter two years ago and there wasnt anything a bnormal then. The way they were making me feel in the er was like i did have it. Im so scared, feel like i cant wait til wed. He did say the ct scan showed no cancerous leisons elsewhere. Im 24 too. Please, has anyone experienced this or cervical cancer?? I cant quit worrying...
Do i have cervical cancer?
I KNOW I need to go to the doctor but I can't make an appointment until Monday. I'm a 22 year old female and I've only been to the gyno once when I was like eighteen. I know I have hpv. I usually have pain during intercourse and when I get aroused I have pain in the same spot. Which I'm guessing is my cervix. Sometimes after sex I can't even get up because I'm in that much pain. I looked up symptoms and it said you may have discharge with blood in it. The only symptom I have is the pain. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for two years with NO luck. Does it sound like cervical cancer? I just want a little piece of mind until Monday. Also, how much would a check up be at planned parenthood? I don't have a job at the moment. I don't have a regular Dr. So that's why I was going to go there. Thanks in advance And 10 pts.
Why are you more likely to get cervical cancer if you've had more than 1 sexual partner?
I'm not getting cervical cancer jabs, does that make me more susceptible?
I don't want cancer jabs because I just figure God does everything for a reason, and if I contracted terminal cancer, it'd be for a reason. I'm not sexually active, and I don't have any vaccines against anything. The only painkillers I take is for occasional stomach ache, which all women get. Does this make me more susceptible?

ok, so is the cervical cancer jab the same as the HPV vaccine? i've looked on google and they seem to be referring to them as the same thing. I had the cervical cancer jab a couple years back, but think i came into contact with someone who has the HPV virus, i'm going to get checked out, but would like some advice first. from having this cervical cancer jab, am i protected against the HPV virus and genital warts? I know there is still the possibility of contracting them even with the vaccine, but want to know if the jab helps protect against the HPV virus as well as cervical cancer. thanks, it'd be very appreciated
Cervical cancer worries, please help?
On and off over the last few months my period pains have been a bit odd and have started to worry me. I am 20, but mid cycle I have period like pains. I have had 'mittle schmertz' pains before on one side of my abdomen but this feels like a very low down period pain, so much so that I've had to check Im not actually on my period. It tends not to last too long. However, I have started to get quite strong period cramps which require me to take tablets 4 5 days before my actual period starts. They feel just like usual pains I get when I have my period, but I have never experienced this sort of pain without bleeding. My period is usually heavy for 1 2 days then light. I am so panicked that I have cervical cancer due to worsening of pain with seemingly no explanation. I have no other symptoms such as bleeding after sex or between periods, what could this be??
