Stage 4 prostate cancer? Treatment possibilities?
Hello, my grandfather had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and has been battling the cancer for the past few years, unfortunately, the radiation and chemo only worked for a limited while. At this point the cancer has metastasized, and his PSA is 4700 stage 4 cancer .. I know it his survival chances are slim, nonetheless I am looking at alternate medicine, or treatments which could help him. I have heard about a possible Vitamin C treatment which involves IV injections of large amounts of Vitamin C which can possibly help. I am willing to try anything to help my grandfather, so please if you know of any treatments which have helped, do share It means alot.. thank you

hi do you thing that is a prostate cancer or just an enlarged prostate bph my dad was having Problems with urination from more than a half year maybe year and in the last 2 days the urine stop at all. a family doctor checked him rectal exam and told us that his prostate is enlarged he gave him medication for bph and And immediately he was able to urinate normally. also 2 or 4 weeks ago his psa test come 1.40 he is 56 years old now on sunday he need to have ultrasound im worry about my dad please help
Why do people say prostate cancer is slow growing but can spread very fast?
How quickly? My dad has stage 4 and gleason score of 7 presently in the lymph nodes but not yet bones. 2nd bone scan is next month, so I'm worried.So, even with a low psa like less then 1 %, is there still a chance of going into the bones? his last bone scan was last july. He gets bone scan 2x a year now. But thanks for the info

Though this is probably the wrong category, I am still going to ask.I have been worried about having an inguinal hernia for a while and I just wanted to see if I could tell by sticking my own finger in my anus and coughing , but today I felt a small Pea sized " ball" on the wall of the anal tract. It is not painful at first i thought it to be stool that just didn't come out but when i tried to remove it, it wouldn't budge. It didn't hurt but a pressure like discomfort. I am worried it could be a polyp or the beginning stage of Colon or Prostate cancer. Please don't read this and shove it off to the side and laugh I am truly worried.

Sometumes I get cramps like somethings squeezing my in the inside and its very sharp pains that come and go with no warning. Its happened more frequently started 2 3 years ago I think... I also seem to be bleeding when I go toilet? I'm not sexually active and I'm a teen boy.
